Description:
This case is designed to hold the Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2. The case features a custom doghouse that cradles the console from rear and sides. The side arms help the console remain stable in user position, each arm features custom foam piece to prevent wearing the console paint during its life on the road. The arms are cut to match the side vents on the console to provide adequate ventaliation. The doghouse is built out of 3/4″ Baltic Birch and is finished in black texture coating.
Another key feature of this case is the iPad integration, the doghouse is slotted to accomodate an iPad in an Otter box. The top doghouse iPad slot is also accompanied by a removable plastic back rest, this allows support for iPads that are not in cases. The back rest can also be used to support set lists, tablets or scripts. The case features an iPad storage compartment in the lid: simply place your iPad in the custom cut foam compartment in the lid, grab the plastic back rest and place it on top of the iPad and velcro it in!
The exterior case is built out of 3/8″ plywood and features deep recessed handles and 3.5″ casters.
