Description:

This mobile technicians tool workbox is designed for the storage of small tools and specialty items. The workbox is designed to hold all tools needed and provide a work surface for mobile repairs and maintenance. The toolbox features 9 drawers of varying sizes. 2 drawers feature movable dividers allowing users to configure the drawers per their custom requirements. A pop-up table is mounted in the lid providing a work surface when space is at premium. A LM Tour Systems WBQB-L is mounted in the lid providing 2 flexible 15” LED task lights, 4 AC outlets, 2 USB-A, and 2 USB-C charging ports. Below the pop up table is a storage space for aerosol cans. 

The main tool storage section is based around 9 drawers. Each drawer is built from ½” Baltic birch, finished with black texture coating, and mounted on smooth drawer slides. All drawers feature a carpet lined bottom. The top 4 drawers are designed for small hand tools such as pliers and screw drivers. These drawers feature usable interior dimensions of 21” wide x 22” deep x 1.75” tall. The next 2 drawers are designed for test equipment like multimeters and larger tool sets that may be held in cases or bags. The first drawer of the set features a movable divider system (pictured). The drawer is split in half left to right and includes 10 – ¼” black marine grade plastic dividers allowing the user to configure the compartments. The second drawer is open. These 2 drawers feature usable interior dimensions of 21” wide x 22” deep x 4” tall. The next 2 drawers are designed for larger items such as drills and or items in bags. One drawer features the same 10pc movable divider set as the 4” drawer, with the other being open for storage. These 2 drawers feature usable dimensions of 21” wide x 22” deep x 6” tall. The bottom drawer is an open storage drawer for large items. This drawer features usable interior dimensions of 21” wide x 16” deep x 9” tall. 

AC power is installed in the workbox by the LM Cases Custom Integration Department. Power is brought into the case via a custom Hubbell power inlet box. The box features a “male” power inlet wired to a 15amp pop breaker. This terminates at a locking Powercon output mounted in a fully enclosed back box. A LM Tour Systems 46-025 power cord is included. Power is run from the inlet box through the back of the case behind the drawers with 14/3 HD SJOOW cable. The cable is wrapped in braided tubing and exits the case neatly through the top drawer face. Power is terminated via locking Powercon at a WBQB-L power box. The WBQB-L provides 4 AC outlets, 2 USB A and 2 USB C outlets to the work surface. 2 – 12v DC 3 pin XLR jacks are provided to power 2 included 15” gooseneck LED lights. These lights are flexible and provide warm task lighting to the work surface. A switch is included to turn the lights on and off easily.

The case features a pop up table mounted in the lid. This table is ideal for soldering or small work if a stand alone table is not available. The table is built out of ½” Baltic Birch laminated with ¼” marine grade black plastic. The case lid also features a storage compartment at the bottom for spray bottles and aerosol cans. 

The case exterior is built from ½” plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic colors. The case features 4 deep recessed handles, a combination locking latch, and 5 – 4” x 2” HD Colson casters. The case features max exterior dimensions of 25.25” wide x 29.75” deep x 55.5” tall. The max width and depth with the front lid open at 90 degrees is 30.375” wide x 49.625” deep.
