Description: 

 This case is designed for the Avid S3L mix system. The S3 control surface is supported in a ½” Baltic Birch structure, which is protected by 1” PE foam on all sides. All rear connections are enclosed in a ¾” Baltic Birch doghouse that is finished with black textured coating. Included in the rear of the doghouse is a power inlet box the brings power into the case via a Hubbell inlet and supplies a duplex outlet mounted in a fully enclosed box. Also included in the box is a Neutrik Cat5 jack to supply signal to the remote stage box. The power box includes a 25’ 12awg HD power cable. A monitor mount board is located behind the control surface. The monitor board is mounted on friction hinges which allow the board to be positioned infinitely along a 90 degree plane. This allows the monitor to be configured to a standing or sitting position. A tilting Chief mount is included as the interface between the monitor and the mount board. A keyboard shelf is mounted below the control surface.

The 3-piece case is built out of 3/8” plywood. The case rides on 4” Colson casters mounted on a ¾” plywood caster board that spans the entire bottom of the case.
